Workplace Observation

These mobile laptops are wireless and update patient information into the hospital database every 30 seconds. Accudose is a pharmaceutical machine that allows nursing staff to order and extract the specific dosage on literally dozens of controlled medications. FDA regulations require that two people are present at the time those medications are dispensed and Accudose ensures accuracy and compliance.
CONCLUSION
Even though my employment at HCA is fairly new, I have been able to observe the Communication efforts, Cultural Tendencies, Conflict Management and Technological Advances through the "eyes" of my position as the Facility Coordinator in many of the operations and processes in all departments. My perceptions are based as a newcomer into a "Gung Ho" business with a strong background in supply chain and patient care.
