Latvia

Latvia is my native land,which I'll never forget!It boarders on Estonia,Lithuania,the Russian Republic and Belarus.My homeland occupies an area of 64,000km2.
The territory of Latvia can be devided into: the Western Highlands of Kurzeme,the Zemgale Flatlands,the Highlands of Vidzeme and the Highlands of Latale.
As I live in Latgale, I'll tell about it first.Latgale is also being called the land of the blue lakes.Over 40% of lakes are in the Latgale Highlands.The lake Rāzna is the largest in Latvia.It takes 5594ha and its depth is about 8,7 metres.But the lake Drīdzis is the deepest lake in Latvia.
The highest hill is Gaiziņš,which is 312m high.Then comes Lielais Liepukalns - 289m which is in Latgale and Krievukalns - 184m in Kurzeme.
