Latvians - the Nation of Emigrants

Latvians are quaiet, hard-working, patient people how used to work on their land, but now are travelling around the world looking for the better life.Why did it hapened?
Before Wrold War 2 Latvia was mainly agricultural country, but then industry started to develop. People started to leave the country and go to the towns, because in the towns, they could get more money and live in better conditions. After Wrold War Two a few latvians had to emigrante because their could be killed in Latvia by Soviet power, their emigrante to America, Australia, Britain... In the 1970’s – 1980’s Latvia was one of the most developed republics of the Soviet Union, then Latvia became independed and the problems began.…
