The Committee notes the statistical information provided by the Government concerning the number of suspended equipment and machinery; the number of accidents and occupational diseases reported concerning operators of equipment and machinery; and the number of penalties and violations. The Committee also notes that there has been an increase in the number of reported accidents and occupational diseases since 2004. The Committee asks the Government to provide information on measures undertaken or envisaged to address this increase; and to continue to provide information on the application of the Convention in practice.
