Good news on jobs in America may have troubling repercussions for emerging markets
IN FINANCE as in medicine, prevention is better than cure. The International Monetary Fund's Global Financial Stability report, published on Tuesday April 6th, is the equivalent of a twice-yearly check-up for the international financial system. At the moment, the system seems to be in rude health, the report says. The IMF does worry, however, that proper precautions for the future are not being taken.
