Raekoja Plats - Kissing Students fountain
Raekoja Plats is the main square of Tartu.
The small square is lined with a number of cafes and restaurants, beautiful cobbled streets, and the iconic Kissing Students fountain in front of the Town Hall.
The fountain has been there since 1948. It symbolizes the tradition for newlyweds and their guests to visit the fountain in order to ensure good luck in their marriage.

University of Tartu Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden of the University of Tartu offers excursions for visitors of all ages. There are more than 10,000 species and varieties of plants in the garden.
In addition to natural plants, including rare protected plants, they introduce new decorative plants. In the greenhouses, rainforest and desert plants can be seen.
