Lets start with some facts and statistics. Denmark is one of the Scandinavian countries which is located in Northern Europe. It borders only with Germany. Denmark occupies 43075 km2 and in 2011 approximately 5 and a half million people live there. The capital of Denmark is Copenhagen. 90.1% of citizens are Danes, but the other 9.9% are German, Turkish, Iranian, Somali and Inuit. The main religion is Evangelical Lutheran. 95% of citizens belong to this faith. 3% are Protestant and Roman Catholic and the other 2% are Muslim. National currency is Danish krone. Political system is constitutional monarchy. Ofiical language is Danish.
