The Main Features of My Hometown

Like as any other town, my hometown has some very interesting features. But at first I want to tell where I live. I live in small country village which name is Jaunpiebalga. It is located far from Riga – about 130 km. Here are very beautiful landscapes with hills and dales. All around are woods and lakes. Through Jaunpiebalga flows river Gauja. Here are ponds almost at the every house. Environment of the village is very spruce. And it is very agreeably, because everyone likes to live in spruced place.
In realty, I am newcomer in Jaunpiebalga. I arrived here first time (it was on March) with my husband to visit his parents. When I landed from train, I though: where I am coming? I though such, because all around was fields of snow, one house and on the other side was wood. There was nothing else, even station or way, only little footpath, which went unknown direct. I was little afraid, but my husband was delighted about my unrest.…
