After a long and intense labor, the gardeners-writers need to taste the fruits of their work. It is the scariest stage of all processes of writing. It starts with feedback. The first critic of their work is themselves, but they must learn the acceptance of failure and resilience. Rowling insists that rewriting is a vital part of writing.
