Statement of Purpose for Nationalism Studies

Recent figures show that Latvia 19% of Latvian society is non-citizens. Meanwhile, the instant society of citizens is not integrated. The support to nationalist parties increases through each new Latvian parliament. For example, native Latvians vote for parties who represent Latvian national interests, but Russian speakers vote for parties representing Russian speaker national interests. Increasing the role of nationalism is just another factor why my choice is Nationalism studies. My goal is to find the best solution for problem to stop the radicalization of society and to promote real integration of society in accordance with democratic principles. …
