Should Dr.Assisted Death Be Legal?

The countries where it has been legal haven’t made any research on how the suicide rates have changed after legalizing PAD, so I can’t say that e.g. if someday this is going to be legalized in Latvia it would make such a huge difference in the wellness of the patients. But from reading many articles and interviews given by the families of the patients and the patients themselves before the procedure, I can surely say, that it has been much better for the ill patients to have gone in such an easy and peaceful death, rather than to have gone by suffering very painfully and slowly. So if I were to say that I have exact proof of the benefits of this procedure I would not be telling the whole truth.
