The Toys"R"Us Children's Fund has donated millions of dollars every year to organizations and charities that support the health and welfare of children. This is important to the organization since children are the heart and soul of their business. Toys"R"Us also has the Kids' Playroom Program. This program currently has 45 playrooms in hospitals across the country. This playroom is a safe haven of play for children coping with the most undesirable circumstances.
Perhaps one of the most impressive contributions from Toys"R"Us would have to be their response to 9/11. The employees of the entire Toys"R"Us family worked together to successfully raise more than $2.6 million for the victims and families affected by the tragic events on 9/11. Being involved with the community and offering on-line services, has allowed Toys"R"Us to become well respected worldwide.
